Alarm went off at 8.30 today. Got up, got dressed, came downstairs, ate a banana, drank some water and opened the door...

...rain. Lots of it.

OK, so I'm not going to melt or anything, but it's unpleasant enough running without being soaking wet at the same time. Decided to check my email while waiting for it to ease off.

Rain did indeed ease off. It's now snowing. Run discarded. Now designing the panto programme with the sultry tones of Kate Bush in the background. It's an exciting thrill-packed life here in Wargrave!

Not that I'm complaining, mind you. This year is going to be jet-setter (as opposed to an Irish setter). Potential travels this year include Edinburgh, Perth, Sydney, NZ, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, another city in Denmark I can't spell or pronounce, Ireland, Arran and New York. I have already turned down Hawaii, unfortunately. But one must stay on the side of reason!
